Richard Akrofi and Evans Gbeti are believed to have been shown the exit the door according to reports intercepted by our outfit.
Akrofi who joined Hearts as a free agent after some wonderful displays with WA All Stars had an erratic spell with the club albeit given several opportunities to become a mainstay in the club.
His versatility ensured he played as a centre-back, lateral defender and as a defensive midfielder but could still not solidify his position in the team as he was calumniated by the fans of the club for his abysmal performances and the last stroke that broke the camel’s back was his performance in Hearts’ 1-3 loss to their archrivals Asante Kotoko in the FA Cup finals.
Evans Gbeti on the other hand struggled to nail down a regular first team place since joining the Phobians from Cornerstone FC seasons ago and fell behind the likes of Ben Mensah, Samuel Akurugu, and Ernest Sowah et al in the goalkeeping pecking order.
The duo according to a source close to the club have not been training with the club in recent weeks.
