The municipal chief executive Hon.Anthony Avorgbedor today, Wednesday, 22 May, 2019 broke grounds for construction of ultramodern CHIPS Compound/zone at Kuli and 3- units classroom block at three(3) different communities; Agordeke, Adrume, and Klenormadi all in the Ketu- North Municipality of the Volta region. The events were all held in Kuli for other 3 communities.

The Dufia of Kuli Torgbui Avorkliya v on behalf of the communities thanked the NPP government for the positive quick response to their plight.

The Municipal Education Director and the Municipal Health Director’s representative also acknowledged the good work of the government and advised the public to take good care of the facilities.

Mr Stephen Klinogo(stevekings) on behalf of the other contractors in his acceptance speech advised the people to always remember the NPP government in their votes to get more projects unlike the perpetual and uninterrupted propaganda from NDC party.

Speaking at the durbar for the commencement of the projects, the MCE said the projects are in line with the President Nana Addo’s directives to all the Assemblies to build at least 2 CHIPS zones in a year. He also charged the members from the four (4) beneficiary communities to be happy for government’s promise and their fulfilment; to make education and health more accessible to all Ghanaians, for which communities in the Ketu- North are not excepted. According to the MCE the action to break grounds for the construction of four projects for different communities in a day is unprecedented in the Municipal. He also employed the participants to ignore the cheap and the wicked propaganda put up by NDC party.
The classroom projects are expected to be completed in 6 months whilst the CHIPS zone is to be completed in 8 months.

Also in attendance were the NPP Constituency Executives, members of the NPP, chiefs, Assembly Workers, Teachers, Students, people from the media and the general public.
